Today I woke up and made that all important trip to BeautyMART on the 3rd floor of Harvey Nichols. Being a Londoner, it would've been wrong for me to not visit at least once; needless to say, I will be returning! A glossy layout with splashes of bold colour, lots of testers and shelves packed with amazing products (Bioderma too). In a few words, it's shopping the ultimate beauty edit.
The lovely ladies there were so helpful and it's definitely nothing like that intimidating feeling you get when approaching a counter in a department store. I was introduced to new products, brands and learnt a thing or two. I also had a look at their Cabinet of Curiosities. It's interesting to see how brand's products and packaging change over the years.
BeautyMART is arranged into product types not brands which personally I found so much more useful. Especially, because it meant I could stare intensely at shelves packed with tons of skincare brands from one spot (and I did). I picked up a few skincare bits and one body care product which you will surely all hear me ramble about soon.
