The New Caudalie Vine[Activ] Collection Blends Skincare Into Your Busy Lifestyle

Caudalie's New Vine Activ Skincare Range Blends Into Your Busy Lifestyle

The capsule wardrobe of your skincare routine is exactly what Caudalie have portrayed in their new Vine Activ Collection. They’ve brought out 4 new products that tie together to promote smoother, healthier and glowing skin. It is beautiful ingredients and years of science in the palm of your hands quite literally. I was impressed to learn that not only have Caudalie provided an offering for anti-pollution skincare but they’re promoting the range through a brilliant #SuperActiv campaign.

Reminding us that your well-being and skincare and lifestyle tie together. That your skincare ritual does not need to be stressful. It can be simple and effective. This new collection has really resonated with the slow living vibes I’ve adopted lately. Those moments of applying these products are calming and enjoyable.

Many of us feel overwhelmed by a pace of life that never stops and an urban environment that is often over-polluted. In order for the skin to weather this whirlwind of a life without losing its healthy glow or developing a single wrinkle, I created Vine[Activ].

The Vine Activ Collection consists of four products. I’ve only been using them for just over two weeks so consider this a first impressions look. I do intend to take these on my travels later this month for a fuss free and top performing skincare routine. I’m impressed by the formulations and the fact that I’ve had no new blemishes or breakouts since beginning this new routine.

Most impressively is the 2+ years of research that has gone into creating their patent pending anti-cell burn-out complex. An innovation that protects the skin but also encourages it to help itself and protect cells by replenishing its natural levels of antioxidants and stimulating internal defenses.

  • It uses their star ingredient of grape-seed Polyphenols as a powerful antioxidant.
  • Spruce extract as another antioxidant that, when combined with grape-seed, acts on helping cells that have been subject to oxidative stress. Consider this the Batman and Robin superhero team.
  • Vitamin C for containing those free radicals and boosting collagen production.
  • Vitamin E

I look forward to this step after cleansing and toning. The formulation is milky and light and feels dreamy to apply to the skin with its fresh scent of cucumber water and green mint. It gives this bouncy suppleness to the skin which marries well with the layers of skincare that follow. My favourite product in the range so far! - (£36.00)

This is a clever cream. Alongside the burn-out complex, it contains polysaccharides that form an invisible (and non-sticky) film on the skin to act as a shield. It stops pollution particles and environmental aggressors from being absorbed into the skin. It’s strangely hydrating but smooths onto the skin like a healthy glow primer giving a soft focus effect. It’s supposed to provide 8 hour protection. I’ve tried applying a top up over makeup and it actually refreshes my skin nicely. - (£32.00)

Caudalie Vine Activ #SuperActiv

I’ve always been rubbish at remembering to use eye cream but so far I’ve used this twice a day for 16 days and counting. With fern, licorice and horse chestnut extracts to lift, de-puff and counter dark circles, I look forward to seeing the results. Apparently this doubles as a lip cream too which is something curious. I prefer something thick and balmy for my lips but if light and refreshing is your style, worth a try. - (£27.50)

Oh, I do love a good oil. Again, another beautifully light texture that doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy. I pat between 4 and 6 drops onto my skin every night and then embrace a little facial massage. I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of the “green” scent but it doesn’t last and my skin feels so good after applying this. It’s that juicy, bouncy, happy skin feeling I’m always striving for without having to add 7 layers of an essence.

It’s supposed to be suitable for all skin types. I use this alone after the serum but if you have very dry skin you could mix it in with the moisturiser or another. It’s packed with omega 6, vitamin e, musk rose oil, neroli, lavender, carrot, white sandalwood and petitgrain. - (£30.00)

I never thought I’d be one to stick to the same skincare routine for more than a week and love it. As a self-confessed skincare junkie, I can’t help but want to change it up often in pursuit of new skincare discoveries. However, in light of the busy days and evenings that life has graced me with, the Vine Activ range is a welcomed treat. I understand that not everyone will want to or can buy into an entire range. If you are interested in trying something then I’d suggest the Glow Activating Serum. You can use it twice a day and it will revolutionise how the other products in your skincare routine layer on.

if you want to try the entire range but stock up on your favourites, Caudalie are offering a FREE Vine Activ Discovery Kit (worth £31) with any purchase of £50 or more until 30th March 2017.
